Removal of existing redundant chiller unit which had come to the end of its economic life from an existing enclosure on the hospital roof  and crane lift and install a new chiller unit and reconnect all pipework and power.

Metromec were employed to dismantle an existing redundant chiller enclosure and to remove the enclosure and chiller from the roof. They also were commissioned to carry out various modifications and additions to the existing chilled water circulation pipework and to install a new chiller in place of the redundant chiller. All works were to be undertaken with minimal disruption to the cooling systems, primary and secondary circulation circuits within the hospital to ensure minimal disruption to services within this busy central London hopsital.

Our brief was to undertake the removal of sections of the existing mechanical and electrical services within the Childrens’ Mercury Ward. We were tasked with carrying out extensive modifications to the ductwork systems and overhauling and refurbishing the existing air handling unit, Also to commission and balance the systems on completion. All work was to be completed to a strict time frame as the ward was closed for a fixed duration of time during works.

Our brief was to install fully integrated mechanical services to a new building extension of an existing nursing home and to upgrade specified services in the existing building. The nursing home was to be kept fully operational during all project works. Careful consideration was to be given to patient services to minimise disruption and ensure patient safety.

Our brief was to install mechanical and electrical services to a renovated historical building and the new build rehabilitation and detoxification wing. We were commissioned to provide a modern environment to combine comfort with robust safety and security with 16 bedrooms, complementary therapy room and an extensive medical surgery.
