Our brief was to install fully integrated mechanical services to a new building extension of an existing nursing home and to upgrade specified services in the existing building. The nursing home was to be kept fully operational during all project works. Careful consideration was to be given to patient services to minimise disruption and ensure patient safety.
We undertook installation of mechanical services to 32 en-suite care rooms, wet rooms, sluice rooms, various patient rooms with laundry facilities, dining rooms, lounges, kitchen and offices across two floors. We also undertook installation of the plant room, heating services, domestic water services, gas and ventilation. All were undertaken to strict time and programme constraints in order to ensure maintenance of patient services.
The project was successfully completed on time and within budget, with no disruption to patient services.
