Brief
Removal of existing redundant chiller unit which had come to the end of its economic life from an existing enclosure on the hospital roof and crane lift and install a new chiller unit and reconnect all pipework and power.
Solution
The existing enclosure panelling was dismantled and removed and craned into a waiting waste management truck on site. The new replacement chiller was then lifted on to the roof and into its final location ready for re-connection and testing.
Outcome
Over the next 2 or 3 weeks we will be reconnecting the power, pipework and controls to the new Chiller and commissioning, prior to final completion.
