As Principle Contractor, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract to provide, Site Management, Construction and M & E Services to install a new billing system to the Residential Apartments and Luxury Executive Hotel at The London Marriot Canary Wharf

Boiler Room replacement to the Golf Clubhouse which has been handed back to the club after the completion of the 12 months defects period.

Metromec were commissioned to design and install new ventilation, comfort cooling, domestic services and above ground drainage to large railway arches within central London aligned with thier conversion into a live music venue and bar, including separate bar, events, stage and hospitality areas.

To provide new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls within the existing plant room and to replace the existing kitchen supply and extract plant and ventilation services. The work was programmed so that the services infrastructure was installed whilst the club was in occupation.

This existing gallery building was completely refurbished and extended by three floors to provide several additional exhibition spaces, a café and a book shop resulting in this being the largest public gallery in London dedicated to photography, situated in the heart of the West End. All new services were installed throughout by Metromec. The building managers were keen for the building services to be properly maintained from the day the building was re-opened.

Our brief was to undertake the design and installation of mechanical services to a new multi-facilities building within an extensive prison complex. Work was to be undertaken with strict limited access controls, limited storage space, and to strict programme restraints. Further consideration for works development was that all adjacent and adjoining buildings were in full occupation for the duration of the project.

1 Birdcage Walk is a highly regarded building with traditional architectural features situated within a few hundred yards of the Houses of Parliament. Metromec were employed to undertake the planned preventative maintenance of the mechanical and electrical services. The building contains many spaces which have different functions. The majority of the services are over twenty years old and in many areas there has been a programme of works to update these services.
